Hillside Men's Ministry Mission Statement The Mission of the Hillside Men's Ministry is to help men find, understand, grow in and serve through their relationship with Jesus Christ! We do this by: Hosting events where men can meet other men who have accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior so they can see the positive and uplifting impact that a relationship with Christ brings to men. Building fellowship among men so each may help others move toward or forward on their personal walk with Jesus Christ. Providing educational opportunities so men can develop a deeper understanding of their roles and responsibilities with and to Jesus Christ, to themselves, to their family, to their friends, and to the community. Offering small groups where men can study the Word of our Lord and work on their personal accountability in a comfortable, confidential environment, led by a disciple of Jesus Christ. Looking at the community and determining where we, as Christian men, can have an uplifting and positive impact on the lives of others in a time of personal or community need, and then taking action to fulfill those needs. Providing information to other men on an informal basis to help them recognize their enormous potential that can be unleashed, transforming their lives through the power of their relationship with Jesus Christ. Sharing our stories of personal salvation one-on-one, in small groups, and at men's events, trusting that our words can touch another man and become a catalyst in his decision to begin or return to his personal walk with Jesus Christ. Helping men connect with opportunities to use their personal gifts within the Men's Ministry, within the church (EMIM - Every Member in Ministry), and within the community, often in concert and fellowship with other men in the Men's Ministry. Equipping men and getting out of the way.  Let the Spirit lead!! What do the men of the Hillside Men's Ministry look like? Obedient to God's call upon their life. Prayerful about all things. Loving and forgiving with one's neighbor. Servant heart - humbly giving while living one's faith. Living out their spiritual gifts.  Generosity - tithing and giving of their personal gifts. Sharing the faith through word and deed
